Hello all
DS is 5 nonths old, and was born 10 weeks premature.
Ive noticed over the past few days that he his much more tired than normal. Lastnight he slept from 7pm-3am, then after his feed until 8am.
I think he has slept for at least an hour an half in naps too. I have just fed him and he is nodding off again.
He is normally must more awake during the day, having just 2 small naps mid afternoon.

How much sleep is normal for a 5 month old?

I know your DS was premature which changes things a little, but my DS would at 5mo quite often sleep 12 hours at night (dreamfeed at 11pm) and then 2 x 2 hour naps in day. Some books (baby whisperer) recommend this much sleep. I think you should only be worried if you have difficulty rousing him or if he's very drowsy etc which could be a sign of illness. If he's alert and happy, enjoy the rest!
