15 month old separation anxiety

My DD is 15 months old, for the past 2 months she seems to of caught every illness going, so it's been tough. The latest is a cold with a terrible lingering cough (viral not infection). So for a few nights running she hardly slept due to coughing so much, she was awake between 11pm and 5am for 4 nights running, thankfully the cough is on its way out so not really causing her to much of a problem. The issue now is she seems to have separation anxiety, whenever she is aware I have left the room she has a meltdown. So for the past couple of nights when she realises me or DP are not there she just won't settle, so we are in and out trying to comfort her but it seems worse when I do it as when I leave the room this leads to a meltdown, she'll settle for a bit when DP leaves her, but this lasts all of about 20 minutes. We are getting no more than 1-2 hours of sleep a night, and she is absolutely exhausted but even fighting naps during the day. Any advice on dealing with separation anxiety would be helpful? If no one has any helpful advice then a number for a good orphanage is plan B 🙈
