Hi
please can people share their sleep routine with their 12m old? My girl naps wel when at home (hit and miss at nursery) but has been so hard to get to bed at night and has been waking again during night. She can easy nap 3hours over 2 naps but thinking this may be the problem?

thanks

DS is 14 months but his night routine has been the same from being tiny. 6:30 go upstairs and get dressed for bed and in sleeping bag, give him his vitamins and brush teeth, bring him into my bed and he has his 7oz milk while we rwad a story. He then falls asleep on me or DP and we cuddle for about 15 mins then transfer him to his own room/cot. He's usually always asleep by 7 and then he then sleeps through until 7:30 (I have to wake him slightly earlier on my working days). He goes down awake for his naps no problem and probably would for bed time now too but we enjoy the cuddles!

Also he usually has a 2/2.5 hour nap in the morning from around 10:30. If the nap is later in the day I would imagine that could be a problem/too close to bed time?

Thanks for your reply! Any advice on getting lo to sleep on their own? When did he go down to one nap?

It took us until DS was about 8/9 months for him to be able to go down awake in his cot for naps. Now we just make is the same setting as it is for bed with his bag and white noise on and sometimes shush him and then he falls asleep. He will sometimes roll about chatting for 10 mins or so but then drifts off by himself. We have an Alexa in his room which is great.
