Duvet and pillow for 13 month old

Hi all!

I'm just wondering if I can now get my little girl a duvet and pillow?

She's 13 months and big. She twists and turns and gets all caught up in her sleeping bag.

If so, what tog duvet? Any suggestions? Her bedroom is in the loft at the top of the house so it gets chilly up there!

Hi OP, sorry to respond to this years later, I just wondered if you went ahead and got your dd a pillow and duvet at 13 months? My wee boy is now 13 months and I've just given him his duvet and pillow for the first time tonight and I feel so nervous. He's used it for naps and been great but I just feel so anxious about!!

Why not ditch the pillow for the time being and start with just the duvet if you're nervous? That's what we did and DS is 18m now still without a pillow 😂

So the pillow thing started when he was recently unwell, I gave him mine for his naps to prop him up a little bit also have my smell near him and he seemed to nap great but I knew he couldn't have a proper pillow like an adult one so it is a toddler pillow and duvet I got him.

I'm thinking now that's maybe what I should have done but he is absolutely out for the count and I know if I wake him I'll be up all night (he's a terrible sleeper). Gosh I don't know what to do😢

Sorry I should elaborate better. He has been napping much better since having my pillow so I thought giving him a pillow and duvet may improve his sleep at night x
