Pillows/duvets

Hi all, wondering when you have your little ones a pillow and a duvet? My 13 month old sleeps excellently in his cot in a sleeping bag but with the cold weather I've been wondering if it's time to get a duvet. What age did you give your kids a "grown up" sleep set up?

I've read 1yr is sage for pillows but did your babies show signs of "wanting" one?

We've just put bedding in our 15 month old's cot bed. It's getting quite chilly and it just seemed cosier. He sleeps better in our bed but that's probably less to do with our bedding and more to do with being cuddled up with mum and dad.

I'm sure our first sickness bug since swapping will have me running back to the easy to change sleeping bags though.

We'll see...

Don’t rock the boat. Switch to a duvet in spring when we next get a spell of warm weather. Throw in a toddler pillow at the same time as why not. IME they need a little while to get the hang of loose covers, so winter isn’t the time to try it.

But since you asked I swapped one at 13 months, another at 15 - but that was deliberately timed to coincidence with summer!
