Dressing baby at night

Now it’s getting really cold at night (live in Scotland) what do u put ur babies in to sleep? I don’t let the house get too cold. Think that 2.5tog sleeping bags can’t be that warm now but you don’t see warmer togged ones. I have bought a few of the fleecy sleep suits.

You can get 3.5 tog ones with sleeves. There are some in JoJo Maman Bebe or lots on Amazon. I have one and it has definitely improved sleep!

Mine used to sleep in fleece sleep suits as recommended by my HV. Neither of them would sleep in a sleeping bag.
If it was really cold I would use a blanket as well. Usually a crocheted one so it was holey.

I feel like 2.5 tog isn’t much but actually they’re wrapped up in it, so I guess it’s warmer? It’s 16/17 degrees at night here and he’s in a sleep suit and sleeping bag. Any more and he’s too hot

Our room is 16 degrees or lower at night and so we have a 3.5 tog. Have you checked how cold the room is at night?

My smallest's room dropped to 14.5 degrees last night and she was wearing a short sleeve vest, a sleep suit and a 3.5tog sleeping bag with sleeves if that helps.

Slumbersac also do 3.5tog sleeping bags.

It's cold in my house and my 16 month old is in a 2.5 tog sleep bag, a vest, a sleepsuit and then pj's on top. I was testing it out to see if she would be too hot but she's been fine, if anything she's maybe a bit cold still.
I've got some fleecy pj's on their way so I'm hoping they'll be warmer for her.
I tend to just do a mixture of layers so that if she's hot I can take a layer off pretty easily
