15month Old - Inconsistent (mainly bad) sleep

Hey All.

My 15month old boy still not sleeping "great" (trying to be positive). He self settles fine when put to bed and has done since about 6 months but still regularly wakes at night; sometimes he fusses goes back off on own, sometimes wants a bit of water and sometimes like this evening wakes up for a solid 2hours and cries (I go in but not straight away all the time) & lastly sleeps all the way through on occasions (once/twice a week)

Room temp is fine day time naps generally good and like I say really inconsistent and no pattern - it's been going to long enough to not be a regression phase IMO

So I guess this post is half rant and half anyone else have a similar experience/got a magic wand.

Is he getting enough calories in the day @GooglingFather?

My DF was advised to stop thinking of daytime food as 3 meals and 2 snacks and to start giving 6 smallish meals. So think of things like porridge & banana for breakfast, cheese on toast mid morning with some quartered cherry tomatoes and a tuna sandwich for lunch, that sort of thing.

Her DD went from not sleeping to sleeping through almost immediately.
