Do I wake baby up from the nap?

Especially relevant today, but I often wonder about this so thought I would try to hear other people's experiences.

DD is 7m, sleeps an average of 2.5-3h during the day, sometimes a bit over than that, but not often. Currently doinh 2-3 naps, mostly 3 unless the other 2 were very long. At night she sleeps about 10hr on average, minus time spent on feeds (she still feeds during the night).

Last night was a rough one, she woke up for a feed at 11 but it took her 2 hours to fall back asleep (this is unusual). As I expected, today she's been napping for longer, maybe to make up for the hours she missed. She had a 1.5 hr nap this morning, and will have been sleeping for 2h soon. Would you wake her up or let her sleep until she's had her rest? Will this make tonight a rough night again? Bedtime is not until 7pm for her (or later, depending on how hard it gets, she's a sleep refuser).

Depends on your baby! We used to wake by 4pm as we knew from experience that the evening would be a disaster otherwise, other parents we knew never woke their child from a nap as they were always keen to sleep in the evening anyway.

I always wake from the first nap as otherwise they think it's still part of the night - that's my understanding at least. And then I allow at least 3 hours before bed unless it's a tiny 10 mins cat nap. My LO is 8 months.

Neither of mine slept unless there was a good stretch between the last nap and bedtime so yes, I think o would have woken her.
