Who should do the night shift

I’m returning to work soon where I’ll be working 15 hour shifts, plus 1.5 travel a day, on occasion I’ll be two in a row, on a weekend. My SO works Mon-Fri.

LO rarely sleeps through the night, normally up once.

Question - who should be up with baby Friday/ Saturday/ Sunday night.

It's not clear from your PO what days/how many days you are working these 15hr shifts. That's a key factor in knowing who would be best placed to do the night feeds. For instance 2 x 15 hr shifts through the week, you're probably best placed. If they are both over the weekend, you can't do the feeds as you will already have been awake about 18 hours by that point. If you're doing 3 x 15 hr shifts through the week, you could split it a night each etc so you each get one longer sleep.

Lots of factors come into play, it's not black and white.
