Hi All,

Desperate need some advise, fell trapped and don't know how to carry on! Has anyone went through the similar ?

Firstly it started when I was trying to nod off so easily and just as I am about to sleep wham i am dragged back to being awake time after time after time all night long second night felt temperature and was not able to fall asleep, third night bam had an anxiety/panick attack ended up in a&e
Never had panick attacks or felt anxious before.

Looks like developed psychogenic fever as well, whenever start to feel anxious now temperature flactuates from 37 to 37.9 and burning skin sensation.

No sleeping pills are helping
Damazepam
Tamazepam
Zopiclone
Martazapine
Quatiapine only gives few hours of sleep

Perinatal Mental Health Psychiatrist said he has never seen anything like it before that I am failing all the sedation and convinced there is a physical cause.
Contracted Covid back in August and he thinks it could be Covid related.
I did not feel anxious when it all started , not sure how all this insomnia suddenly developed.

Terrified that it could be fatal insomnia or some brain abnormality.

Anyone went through the same, please give me some hope that there is a light in the end of the tunnel. Got 6 months old.

Thanks

Hey, no still the same situation had brain MRI, running tests with Endocrinologist. It's like brain is in a constant fight or flight mode, surviving on 2-3 hours sleep that gives Quatiapine. Totally terrified!!! Currently taking 150 mg of Quatiapine and Mirtazapine.
