Is 6 weeks too young for a sleep routine?

My first baby is a great sleeper for the most part, she is generally awake longer than the wake window for her age suggests but she consistently naps every 1.5-2 hours without seeming overtired - in the day.

The issue is going down at night. Once she's asleep she sleeps happily for about 4 hours, then a feed, then another 2-3 hours. But in the evening she is awake for around 4 hours, gets so overtired, finally goes down about 2am, no matter what we try.

6 weeks seems young to have a bedtime routine but would it help? What can we do to make her evening sleep a bit better?

I also have a 6 week old and 1.5-2hrs awake in the day seems like a long time for that age. It may be contributing to her being way overtired by evening. Mine is awake like an hour/1.25 max. I’d try that first and also I wake her after 2 hours in the day to ensure she isn’t sleeping too long of stretches in the day and also feeds regularly. Finally we do a bedtime routine of bath, pjs, feed, song, into bed. We’ve been getting 6 hour stretches and last night she did a 9 hr stretch. She’s my second and we did something similar with my first who is a really good sleeper still at 2.
