Keep waking thinking there are two babies

So this is a weird one...
I'm used to the common wake fright thinking baby is in the bed somewhere (never co-slept but know this is a really common hallucination/dream) but recently - I (semi) wake up, peer into the side cot and see my son but am then still convinced I'm holding a baby and my brain panics about where I'll put it down to sleep since the cot is taken.
Obvious within a minute I realise but it seems a bit odd.
Never had twins or lost a baby or anything.

Anyone else ever had this? Just want to know if I'm alone!

Are you breastfeeding? I had really weird, vivid dreams when I was breastfeeding. I also had them when I was pregnant, only stopped when I stopped breastfeeding. I put it down to stress and hormones.
