Wind stopping sleep

My four month old seems to get wind during the night - leading to constant shuffling and moaning in her sleep.

Does anyone have any tips to relieve it? I feel so sorry for her - and for me! I am absolutely shattered, so she must be too.

Any advise or have you experienced the same?

My DD had similar and it was always at night.
We used to lay her over our knee before bed and rub her back for a good 30 mins usually. It helped and she often managed to get rid of the wind that way.

Or you could try laying her on a rug for half an hour on her tummy.
Do you bath her at night or in the morning as a warm bath can relax their tummy muscles so doing it at night might help the wind too.

Thanks Luciemule. I bath her at night, which i think helps. Tummy time seems a good plan. I'll try rubbing her too. Things you forget to think about with no.2! Many thanks for taking the time to respond. It's helped. x

I actually forgot about how much we had to rub DD's tummy - you're right about forgetting with no.2.
Hope her tummy gets better soon.
