Hi.

I was wondering if you can help please. My lo has been on one nap 1230pm to 230pm nap for about 3 months. 100 percent self soothes.

Last few weeks she has been refusing this nap at nursery which is fine as i go with flow at nursery. Though last few days she's refused it at home too 😢 😭

She's not overtired. Sleeps 730pm wakes around 630am. Chatters in her cot till 7am to 715am. We get occasional night time wakes, though usually because her nappy is too wet or her teeth are hurting her or unwell. The usual

How is she all of a sudden going without these 2 hours sleep? Is she dropping her nap? 😳 it was only 3 months ago I forced the morning nap drop.

What do I do? As soon as she finishes her lunch she says nap and gets her sleep suit. So she wants to go to bed

Thank you

Let her carry on going to bed st lunchtime if she wants to. Establishing quiet time after lunch is a good habit anyway. If she doesn't nap and isn't overtired by bedtime, it's not a problem. It's only a problem if she needs the sleep.

Thank you 😊 sorry didn't see reply.

I have the issue now (especially nursery days) she crashing about 330pm/4pm. Any tips please.

I'm currently sat in my car as she's crashed out and an overtired kid is a nightmare. She usually goes bed at 8pm. But isn't it a danger 30 to 40 mins nap.
