I've been looking at the newborn love2dream swaddle and grobag from Tommee tippee and can't decide between the two, I was thinking 2.5 tog and then a short vest and sleep suit? Does this seem fine?
Sounds silly and wanting to get it right, I have autism and want to prepare best

We had the tomee tipee grobag and really liked it. What they wear depends on the temperature of the room they're in - ours came with a guide but it will be easy to find online.

I had a sleepyhead with mine and then tucked a cellular blanket in under their arms and into the sleepyhead whilst they were in a sleepsuit (but they were spring and autumn babies).

My sister seemed to have a lot of success with swaddles for the first couple of months until the baby learnt to kick their feet out :)

Congratulations!

Tommee Tippee do a swaddle GroBag... there are poppers at the shoulders so you can have arms in or out. I'll try to find a link.

Lots of images online to help with what to wear underneath based on temperature too 🙂 if you get a thermometer set up in the room the baby will sleep in you'll have an idea before they arrive!
