Getting 7mo to sleep

My DD is a good sleeper, and sleeps through. Our issue is getting her asleep.

Prior to her starting to move about, we were able to put her in her cot and she’d go off to sleep. But once she started to roll over and move about, she used hot herself off the side of the cot and cry. So then we developed the habit of putting her asleep on our bed with one of us with her singing/patting her back etc. But it’s now turned into an hour long session every night to get her to go asleep. Has anyone any advice?

If go back to a story, a feed and popping her in the cot again. It might take a while, it often does with a change in doubting but she'll get used to it.

It might help if you sleep with her bedding for s couple of nights before you put it in her cot so that the cot has the nice, reassuring smell of you.
