Tips for managing nap for 22 month old

DS is 22 months and mostly sleeps really well at night. He sometimes wakes early but other times sleeps until 7, and on those days nap can be tricky, as he won’t sleep until around one o clock so is still very tired at half two when I have to wake him. I could let him sleep longer and have a later bedtime but will admit I quite like his bedtime 730!

I don’t know if he’s getting to the stage of dropping the map but he does seem very tired and like he needs it.

Any tips for getting him down earlier?

I know it doesn't help. My lo is 20 months and needs 5.5 hours before bed. So 1230pm to 230pm sleep bed 8pm. Have you tried 8pm bedtime? I know some people cut that lunch time nap to 1 hour to see if it helps. Could trgbit?

Mine seems to sleep worse when I cut her nap short. She goes to bed at 8 PM and after milk and cuddles and chatting she finally sleeps at around 8:45. She mostly wakes around 4/5 AM for more milk and then sleeps till 8ish. Her daytime nap is 3 or 3.5 hours though..... which I absolutely love. So I feel that I'm trading evening time for a sleep in and more free time during the day so I just go with it. If she doesn't nap during the day she will sleep slightly earlier but then wakes at the crack of dawn. I'm not good with dawn...
