Flailing arms

Hi everyone. My ds is almost 4 months old and for the past 2 weeks has been flapping his arms or rubbing his cheek/ear anytime he is trying to settle himself to sleep. This causes him to take his dummy out and wake himself up. We are awake every 1-2 hours at night and 30 min cat naps during the day. I have tried swaddling but he hates it. I basically cant get him to self settle into the next phase of sleep. Any recommendations or help will be grateful. Thanks

Your probably in the 4 month sleep regression. Not much to do except ride it out. Sorry.

Making sure her hands were covered with the arm flap ends helps my 14 week keep those arms under control! So simple but absolute necessary for her!
