9 month old sleep gone to absolute s**t

Baby girl has never slept though. Would wake for a bottle at 1/4/7. Eventually dropped to one wake up a night @4am and went back down very easily after she sunk 7oz.

Then August came (8mo)

Getting her to bed is a total performance. Tears, fighting, wants to be held, doesn't want to be held. Then once she's asleep the nighttime waking has been up to 10x a night. I cannot continue like this.

TELL ME IT GETS BETTER. I feel as though I am going to DIE of exhaustion. I thought sleep got better once out of the newborn black bubble. It's getting so much worse.

I want to say there is a 8 month sleep regression.... whenever we have a sleep regression. We get to a point and then go to cc. This sounds means. But we have a nightmare and she doesn't sleep. We don't sleep then she grumpy. We're grumpy then she gets overtired. It's continuous cycle and it just ends horrible. We give a couple weeks of doing more though before going cc route. It's hard. Every sleep regression we have had.
Regression normally last 2 to 6 weeks by all accounts.

I have no advice but I'm in exactly the same boat. My nine month old has currently been awake for over an hour and is insisting on being held, wide awake, while he pinches and pulls at my face. Can't do controlled crying because he'd wake up our daughter and the entire street.

Sending sympathy and solidarity, hope this passes soon!
