10mo not sleeping well HELP

Hi all

I'm just very exhausted writing this out.
My 10mo DS is breastfed and has never been a good sleeper. He started doing 4 hours stretches few months ago but now we're just exhausted.
He's awake every 1-2 hours during the night and needs the boob to fall back asleep. Then around 3/4am, he'd only sleep in my bed.
We tried sleep training at 4mo and it worked until it didn't.
He does have a nap during the day for 1.5hrs. Sometimes he has two naps but second one being a shorter one. I try not to put him to sleep after 4/5pm.
Currently I don't know how or where to tackle this. Do I night wean first or sleep train first? Does my DH need to step in?

Any tips or advice would be hugely appreciated.

Very exhausted mum.

Hi
I have breastfed my first until she was 2 and I m currently breastfeeding my second, I can completely relate.
With my first daughter sleeping at night improved when she was about 18 months old. I think that learning to fall asleep at nursery without the boobie really helped.
I don't understand though why is bed time so early? Maybe it's too many hours in the cot that is messing up their sleep?
Re co sleeping, It can be a big help as long as you find a comfortable solution such as a cot attached to your bed or a mattress on the floor of their bedroom.
For my second child I noticed that when she started walking during the day her sleeping at night was a bit worsened maybe due to the growth spur? Best of luck and it will get better.

Sorry to confuse you, but I meant I don't give him naps after 4pm.
His bedtime is between 8-9

He doesn't sleep in his next to me, will wake up and cry for me after 1/2 hours max.
Yes he is standing up by pulling himself and also teething. But his sleep has always been awful 😖
He actually doesn't need boob to fall asleep during the day. He will go to sleep if you just hold him and be in a quiet dark space.

Thank you x I hope it does get better
