How long did you use Love to Dream swaddle sleeping bags?

When did you transition your LO out of swaddle sleeping bags like Love to Dream? My DD is 11 weeks and is still sleeping well in her Love to Dream. Not much sign of rolling over but can occasionally roll to one side while on the playmat. It’s getting chillier at night and I would probably have to buy the heavier 2.5 tog Love to Dream very soon or heat the house more at night as I only have the 1 tog ones at the moment. Don’t want to waste money on something that won’t get much use so was just wondering how long you used Love to Dream (or similar) for? I already have a 2.5 tog baby sleeping bag of the non-swaddle type so wouldn’t need to buy anything if we stop swaddling soon.

I kept my baby swaddled until he literally could heave and wriggle out of the velcro fastenings. I think this was about 4 months. Miss those swaddling days - now he is almost two and refuses to nap as he'd rather get up and Potter about pretending to be a dinosaur.

I used the Love to Dream swaddle but I have just transitioned our 14 week old out of it as she was starting to show signs of rolling. I used one of the Love to Dream transition swaddles where you can unzip the arms out and I thought that worked really well. You could maybe buy a 2.5 tog in that as it will last a bit longer than the regular swaddles.

They have a very good second hand resale value so I wouldn't worry too much if you only get a few weeks out if it. I transitioned out when my son was about 15 weeks and started sleeping terribly anyway so I figured I'd do it as it couldn't get much worse!

Thanks for the advice! I guess we may not have many swaddling days left. I looked at the transition swaddles but they seem to start at medium (13 lbs) and my baby is only just over 10 lbs (but 62cm so getting long for the small Love to Dream) so not sure if it will be suitable.
