Anyone else can’t sleep after a middle in the night feed?

My DD woke up at 2am, fed and went back down. Now I’m still awake!!
she’s probably going to wake up again soon, so frustrating I can’t sleep 😫
anyone else having this problem?

Me, but mine is 3! Four times he has been up tonight as he doesn’t like his room or wants another drink. It wasn’t like this with my first and I’m drained.

yesterday was just as bad. No idea what’s wrong with him him, growth spurt, maybe?

It’s always a struggle to try and sleep when I’ve been woken up after 2am.

He’s still feeding after 1.5 hours… just determined to suck on boob and not sleep tonight. Doesn’t help that the cat was determined to get into our room at 2 so I’ve been up since then…

Yep, our little girl had a bottle just before 3, she is soundly asleep and I’m wide awake.

Yep, mine is 3 though! He woke up at 11.30 and I told him to go back to sleep, then again at 3.30 sobbing from a nightmare.

So he's currently in our super king sized bed lying on me snoring his head off.

Meanwhile I'm now hot and sweaty and have no space....got to get up for work in 1.5 hours

@Motherofalegend I have an 8 year old and she was never like this either!!

Glad I'm wfh today as may need a cat nap at lunchtime!!

WFH is great for managing situations like this.

its now after 4, alarm set for 6 but 3 YO will be up at 5.30. I’m getting hungry and considering starting work - I generally do a few hours when it’s like this as I’m just here on Mumsnet or online shopping otherwise!

Yup! Baby sound asleep. Just me up. Dd 7 weeks old, period returned yesterday so cramps, backache ramped up and not being able to sleep. Joys!

Now both my husband and cat are snoring…. Lucky them!

Been awake for the last 3h! Finally decided to come downstairs and have a cup of tea. Not have DC yet but 31 weeks pregnant so I guess this is a taste of what's coming! X

@Arwen7 I’m 31 weeks pregnant too, i do have another child who is 3 though and she is what originally woke me up. DH has taken her to sleep downstairs on the sofa, I’m guessing so I could sleep undisturbed, and yet here I am!

My 'baby' is 5 now but regularly wakes in the night with a bad dream or for a wee. She goes straight back to sleep, me however, once I've been woken, that's it and I'm awake. Sigh

I wake for little while in night. Generally my lo doesn't wake in night. But I do. For about an hour or so.

I'm 2 months into a seemingly never ending sleep regression with my 6mo. He's up 6-8 times a night most nights.

I used to struggle to go back to sleep, but I now fall asleep during night feeds I'm so tired 😳

Yes me. My 12 week old wakes up twice for feeds and it takes me 1-3 hours after each feed to get back to sleep 🥱
Can't wait until he does one night feed

I've found that playing zen mode on bejewelled makes me fall asleep pretty quick! Even when I feel wide awake
