Transitioning to cot - HELP

Hi all - advice please!

My very mobile 6 month old is rolling, sitting, near crawling and almost pulling herself up. She's clearly outgrown her bedside-crib and ready to transition to the cot in her nursery.... however, we are relocating in October and living with my parents for potentially 6 months where there highly likely isn't room for a cot in the spare bedroom where we'll be staying! We obviously can't keep her in the bedside-crib for safety reasons but where do we put her?! Do we co-sleep for 6months (which really isn't ideal)?? Not sure whether to transition her to the cot until October when we move? Advice would be much appreciated please 😊

Could you transition to a travel cot but get a decent travel cot mattress? They are often smaller and at least they are low lying? There might be more space for this at your parents?

Travel cot is a good way to do it, there smaller then a cot. We used travel cot from 4 months until about 7 and half months old. It was fine. She still uses now and again now.

We brought mattress from asda. Or other way is pop the cot in your room perhaps?

Ah that's a possibility! Thank you
