My 2 month old baby has never slept well. Most nights he does two 2 hour stretches and then writhes around the rest of the night. We co-sleep (out of necessity - I hate it as I’m so uncomfortable) but it feels like neither of us is getting any sleep still.
Sometimes it seems as though the writhing around is trapped farts as he can settle for a another hour if we massage his tummy and do bicycle legs to let out some farts and give him some gripe water, but other times I have no idea what it is. His routine is that he wants my boob to feed, has a very short snack then comfort sucks until he falls asleep, unlatches, stays asleep for 10 mins max, then the whole routine starts again. My nipples feel raw and I end up just feeling incredibly frustrated and exhausted.
Does anyone know what might be causing his writhing around or have any suggestions?
