Vomiting at bed time

My 10 mo dd has vomited at or just after bedtime for the last 5 nights out of 6 and I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? Nothing in her routine or diet has changed and she normally goes down without fuss after supper/bath/milk/nappy/milk. Now she wakes after a short sleep & cries. We comfort her briefly and then leave her to settle but she doesn't and then vomits a fair amount. One night she vomited after her first session of milk. I'm not forcing any food or milk on her if she doesn't want it and she's not teething. Although she cries & coughs a bit, she isn't inconsolably crying (more shouting than crying). She has a bit nappy rash which is more than normal. As soon as she's sick, she's happy and has enjoyed the attention and then gone off to sleep. She's her usual happy self all day and sleeps fine for her naps. I am sure it can't be attention seeking but can't work out why it's happening. We follow the Dr Marc Weissbluth book on sleep training. Any thoughts gratefully received. Cheers

My DS went through a similar phase just when he started eating more solids. It seemed to make his gag reflex more sensitive, and it would 'go off' all the time, particularly when he cried or coughed. It has gotten better.
