Just curious as to what others do when their babies go through bad sleep phases.

Our 2 y/o has been poorly but started feeling better Sunday. During this time he just wanted to be with me so slept in bed with me whilst poor DH slept on the sofa.

As soon as he felt better it was back in the cot. OMG it's been a nightmare, not sure if he's got used to being with me or if he's having a sleep regression.

He's waking every few hours and absolutely booting off fake crying and screaming.

Usually when he wakes in the night we'd have a cuddle on the sofa and back to bed but this is not working.

I've been keeping him in his cot and trying to calm him in there but it doesn't work so I walk out and he screams blue murder for about 15 minutes (even though it feels like a lifetime) then goes to sleep.

What do you do to help calm them? He's usually such a good sleeper and will happily babble in bed until he goes to sleep.
