Could you elaborate a little please..... I thought that was just putting them to bed not a method 🤔

mommynette · 27/08/2022 17:12

@ChittyBang1987 for about a year, most nights, my LO does not sleep in the night and early morning, she like to play with her toys at that time. Sleepless nights issue and I am getting insomnia too. But any other method to make LO sleep, light off method does not work.

OK to give us a bit of background how old is lo?
Naps? Bedtime etc. Is lo happy in the day or they massively tired etc

mommynette · 27/08/2022 17:20

1 year old, sleeps long during the day, always been like that, rarely any night or early morning sleep. I will be grateful for any advice on getting LO to sleep at night??

Have you tried stopping her sleeping during the day so much?

ExPatHereForAChat · 27/08/2022 17:38

This is quite bizarre.

Do you have similar bad sleeping habits? If not, how do you look after her when she's awake all night?

When does she get out in the sunshine?

MolliciousIntent · 27/08/2022 17:43

Is she on one or two naps? Try and keep daytime sleep to no more than 3hrs, make sure she's awake by 3pm latest, bed at 7, and wake her up at 7. Might take a few weeks but stick to it and she should reset her body clock.

ChittyBang1987 · 27/08/2022 19:28

How long does lo sleep in day ?

Why is lo playing with toys in evening and morning at that age? Not meant to be harsh, but no real way to say it.

RidingMyBike · 27/08/2022 20:33

Don't give access to toys at bedtime etc? Put away until morning.

Reduce the daytime sleep.

How was last night OP?
