Hi,
I am one of those exhausted Moms who have not slept much the last weeks and month as my baby has a hard time falling asleep. When she is sleeping she wakes up after two hours max. I know that can be kind of normal but I hardly can keep my eyes open. I know I am too late to ask but I need advice. I do not know where to start. I missed to inform myself about sleep problems when I still had more time. What helps a baby falling asleep? How can it sleep longer. She sleeps in a darkened room. Has a little cuddle me animal. I sing when putting her to bed. She does not accept a pacifier. I need to mention that I would never leave her alone crying. I want to help her but need help myself.😴

White noise can help. There are apps available that you can use.

Are you going to sleep yourself as soon as she does. If not, start doing this.

Im guessing she is very young. 2 hours is pretty normal for really tiny babies. It will pass though. 💐

Do you have a DP and are you expressing/using FF? If so I would really recommend splitting nights (e.g. one of you does 9pm - 2 am feeds while the other sleeps, then you swap for 2 am - 7 am). Having 5 hours of unbroken sleep will make you feel human again.

Hi there, yes white noise can help. For general help and a gentle approach I can recommend the book "Asleep Now by Jessica Ram". It was given to me by a friend and it helped us a lot. There are many tips and tricks in the book and it is written in cheering way. A little bit non-standard as each sleep aid is described with a little magic but that helped me to look at the problems in a new and more positive way. With the tips in the book my little sweetheart is sleeping much better 😊
