👋 Looking for advice please.
Preparing to move my 26 month old from his cot to a bed.
Questions:
We have a normal single bed for him but is it better to just put the mattress on the floor?
How do I secure upstairs incase he runs amok? (He is an excellent sleeper but a whirlwind when awake - hence the name Loki, I am sure he will try to get out of bed)
Assume I need a stairgate but at the top of the stairs or in his doorway? (I don't like the idea of having it in his door but he may get into other rooms)
I will secure his drawers with locks but do I need to do anything about his bookcase? It's big but solid but I can't see it falling.
Any other hints or tips appreciated too 😊
