Molars, sleeping & Neurofen

DD is one. She has a molar peeking through on one side - just one cusp and has slept appalling badly since Christmas. She seems to do better if on neurofen which is making me think that it's teething pain that's distrubing her. Today DH didn't dose her and she was wingy until she had some. How long will this molar thing last for? How many nights will we realistically end up dosing her for? It's been since Boxing Day - she was poorly for 10 days then but now we're stuck in this dreadful pattern whereby she's up 12-12 and then 2-4:30 and then 6ish (her natural waking time is 7am) and we're going mad. We're all awake for long periods of time nit just quick wake ups, reassurance and then back again. She seems to be awake wanting to play if anything but if given neurofen will settle again but won't otherwise.
