Not sure whether this is a split night issue or not... DS is 10m. He was sleeping through 7pm ish - 5.30/6am ish, which I know is good.

The past few weeks he has started waking any time between 1-3am and making noise. Not crying or unhappy just babbling. I've checked on the monitor screen and he is properly awake and sometimes makes noise for up to an hour. He'll then go back to sleep until 5-6ish. Definition of a split night online seems to be that they are awake for much longer than that (2-3 hours), so not sure whether this would be a split night problem or not?

I don't go to him when he's making noise and he must drift back off. He has 2x naps a day, both 1.15 hours long at 9am and 1.30pm.

He is about to crawl, pull-up, stand, so perhaps developmental? I did also think teeth as he only has one so far so is definitely overdue some but surely he'd be in pain if that was the case, just generally seems awake.

The other options are that he is under-tired or over-tired. He falls asleep very quickly at bedtime which would suggest overtired but not sure how I can get him to sleep anymore in the day.

Anyone else had an issue like this?
