Family sleeping arrangements

Ok, going to keep this short and sweet as possible!

Current sleeping arrangements -

DD1 (teens) has box room, sleeps in there fine.

DD2 has double room, goes down in there and then comes in with me when I go to bed.

DD3 goes to sleep in cot in our room ends up with me.

When we go to bed OH goes to sleep in DD2 room. DD2 comes in with me and if DD3 wakes up she ends up in with me as well.

Reason arrangement started is OH gets up for work before 6 so it was easier for sleep and also us not being disturbed by him.

It is temporary as we will have (within the next two years) a 6 bed with our own bathroom/dressing room/bedroom suite style area.

Question is, is it ridiculous this is how we sleep? People have said it is, others have said sleep is sleep enjoy haha!

We currently live in a three bed semi, looking to move to a four bed with the view to extend into a six with the suite mentioned before!

Not so short or sweet in the end!

We played musical beds for years. All had the same mattress so everyone slept.

Sleep is Sleep!!

I mean, it's not ridiculous no but What difference will moving to a bigger house make? It won't unless you stop the dc taking over your bed. Or you share with the dc and your dh gets his own room?

how old are DD2 and DD3? could they have a bunk bed in the same room and learn to stay in it (they can keep each other company) so you and DH get your adult bed back? especially if it is going to take 2 years to move to another house with more space.

but if you and DH are happy with the current arrangement, don't let anyone else tell you it is wrong.
