When did your BF baby sleep through?

I have an older DC who didn’t sleep through until we did CC at 15 months so I don’t have unrealistic expectations about a baby sleeping through from 6 weeks or anything as I know that is a rare blessing! But just curious to hear about other people’s experiences.

when did your BF baby sleep through?
how did it happen? Naturally, by following a strict routine, with some gentle sleep training or with CC/CIO?

how do they sleep now?

thanks!

She's nearly 4 and still doesn't. But realistically she didn't start sleeping through vaguely reliably until she was close to 2 and long after I stopped BF. I think I got unlucky as she is a really terrible sleeper.

I agree it’s probably due to the baby’s personality… my 20 month old still doesn’t sleep through reliably, but we don’t feed at night any more.

DS1 - about 18-20 months. We did attempt night weaning but it was just awful so in the end it just kind of happened naturally.

DS2 - from about 8-9 weeks would go ~8-11pm, quick feed then sleep till 7. Dropped the dream feed a few months later. Had a bit of a regression around 8 months but settled down again by 10 months.

10 months, just started doing it so not anything we did. I had cut down breastfeeding to just nights by that point so that also meant the end of that. Had a few regressions since but that was the start of long periods of sleeping through.

One of mine slept through from 10 weeks, the other didn’t till he was 16 months. They are both older teens now and they have swapped sleep habits - the older one is a terrible insomniac and the younger one can sleep for England!

6 months onwards with CIO
