7 month old frequent waking

I’ve a nearly 7 month old, breastfed, content baby. Goes to sleep independently and happy but for probably the last 4 months wakes after 45 minutes and then every 2 hours (sometimes 1 hour) after, screaming, and will only settle by being fed. Have just been feeding back to sleep, knowing that all phases pass, but I’m really getting a bit bored of it. On a couple of occasions I’ve managed to get her back to sleep without feeding (with a lot of battle) but she then wakes 10 minutes later screaming again.

She won’t feed much in the day as she is very distracted, and cosleeping unfortunately isn’t really an option owing to some medical issues (mine not hers). (Although we have tried, and she wakes just as much, if not more). Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions I may not have tried please?! 🙏

Sounds like she's making up for lost calories overnight. I'd focus on effective feeds in the day for a few weeks and see if that helps.

Thanks @MolliciousIntent , this was my thought too. Any ideas how to persuade her feeding in the day is a good thing? Tried the usual, quiet dark room, feeding when sleepy etc to no effect

How is she with solids?

She is really interested, but probably not taking huge amounts yet. We are offering two “meals” most days. Predominately BLW.
