Is it normal for my newborn to keep wanting breast? I breastfeed alongside formula, as im unsure of how much breast milk he is taking in. But since introducing breast he wants it all the time, like every 30 mins to an hour. And then i struggle to get him off me to put into his basket...
Also is using white noise a good idea?

My lo loves pink noise. She still sleeps to it now. I can't sleep without the damm thing now either.

In the early days I believe so, I would make sure lo is latched and such properly though. They spend quite a long time bringing your supply in especially at night.

For a newborn, yes, pretty normal, especially in the heat, they're thirsty! Although try to get them to have a long feed if you can sometimes too - more satisfying for them but tiring is the problem.

What about if i wanted to breastfeed during the day and formula at night. Is that okay?
Last night i gave formula every 2 hours and he dozed off to sleep each time.
When i breastfed he was awake all the time

Some people combi feed and thats all good if it suits you. The only problem you might find especially in early days is lo isn't bringing your milk in and you may get sore and engorged.

Hiya, sorry to jump on your response but was wondering what device you use for pink noise please?

We used alexas free one but found it cut out. So we brought it on an old phone then pop through a Bluetooth speak we got at curry's.
