My 7.5 month old seems about ready to drop his 3rd nap (or at least, in last couple of weeks has been fighting it hard).
I can’t quite figure out how his other naps should be adjusting to compensate for this though! His wake windows are still pretty short 2-2.5 hours so on a typical day without a 3rd nap he’d go:
7am wake
9-10.45am nap 1
1-2pm nap 2
2pm til bedtime is a looong time even with a 6.30pm bedtime!
Should I be trying to stretch out the wake window between his first and second naps? Or between waking and nap one? Should I persevere with offering the 3rd nap? Or should I just accept that things will probably work themselves out with time and stop overthinking the whole thing? 😂
