13 month old waking for hours at night

My baby who was a good sleeper has turned into an awful sleeping toddler.

Can anyone suggest anything?

For about a month now, she has been waking up crying in the middle of the night at random times and will then be awake for around 2 hours (last night was 1.10am - 3.45am).

I’ll go in, give her a cuddle and put her back down but she’ll cry again after a few minutes. I try to bring her into our bed but she then used me as a drum kit.

She goes to bed at around 7pm and will still wake up at 6am despite the party in the night.

Daytime sleep, she dropped from 2 naps to 1 shortly after she turned 1 so she’s having 1 nap which is around 1.5 hours. I just can’t see why it’s happening?

I am going through the exact same thing, my LG is 13 months, goes down religious 7pm every night then is awake from 1am until around 3am, I thought it was a phase but now at the stage it's been going so long it's no longer a phase, sorry I don't have an answer for you, but your not alone, I am hoping someone can provide some ideas too

Sounds like her body has got into the habit of waking at night, and she's learnt that crying gets her cuddles, which she likes, so she does it. You can either keep giving her what she wants and hope she eventually grows out of it and that you don't have a serious accident due to sleep deprivation in the meantime, or you can stop giving in, have a hellish week of protests and break the habit.
