Your tips please-feel like I've made a huge mistake with DD

DD is 23 weeks and I feel like I've made a huge mistake. She was sleeping in her carrycot for a large portion of the night then she had a really nasty cold and I put her in bed with me. Now she will only sleep with me in bed, DH has moved out into another room, and she absolutely won't sleep anywhere else in the evening execpt on me.

While it is lovely, being so snuggly with her I am going to my bf's 40th next week and need her to settle in the evening without me. She still won't take a bottle either so that complicates things.

You haven't made a mistake. She'll only be this tiny for such a short space of time. You just enjoy it. Can you settle her before you go? If not perhaps can someone else give her a bottle of ebm a couple of times to get her 'used to it'?

i wouldnt worry about it too much ineedsomesleep could you try expressing some BM for your DH to try her with over the next few days?? it only takes a few days to get some babies into a new routine. i started this when i started back at work and DH was doing the night feed. DD soon got the hang of the bottle. it just needs some perseverance as she will take the milk when she is hungry i hope things work out for you and you have a great time at your friends birthday party!
