So, we're on holiday and thankfully although he doesn't sleep through....LO has settled really well on holiday so far (2 days in, in Spain) he's been waking at 7 which is a dream as we've managed to have dinners out as a family instead of having to go back to hotel stupidly early for bed.

I'm sticking to a routine as much as I can (that's just me as a person, plus I don't want a nightmare when we get home), BUT.....

My issue is, because the naps are now later is it the worst thing if he naps past 5?!!

Can someone tell me it's ok 😂😂

How old?

Lollypop701 · 01/06/2022 20:16

Take pram out, he might stay up later but will sleep in the pram? Mine did this and wasn’t as issue. When you get home go straight back to normal naps… might take couple of days

I worried horribly that a holiday change of routine would muck up the established home routine.

It didn't. Maybe took a few days but we soon got back to normal.

Enjoy your holiday.

When we were on holiday we just went with the flow. As pp said. Took couple days and all went back to the norm.

I think napping pasg 5pm on holiday is going to be fine. But other factors like how old? Awake times etc play a factor. Also of your lo is sensitive to having too much day tome sleep..... may affect night?
