Do you get to lie in on your dp/dh's days off?

Either a Sat or Sunday. He has one day, I have the other.

I never did, no.

We take turns at the weekend for a lie in

DP is an early riser, he likes to come down to an empty house so I get to lay in both sat and sun but he does leave the DC's in their room so they can get noisy.

we have so many arguments over this. I work three days a week but only since beginning of Dec so before that was SAHM, have DS1 3 and DS2 17 months. I need/want a lie in one morning a week, as I get up and deal with the kids all other mornings. DH finally got the importanve of this to me (I don't even need quiet, just want o be in in bed and not managing the kids - just till 7.30am, 8am, we are not talking hours and hours here, my kids are up from 6am after broken nights). Saturday morning, DH does get up with the children. He does their breakfast, and by about 8am I am downstairs cleaning up. If he starts shouting and I think it's all going pear shaped I com down earlier.

It's the principle. I need to know I can have ONE MORNING A WEEK when I don't have to do EVERYTHING. He gets a lie in on Sunday till whenever he likes.....
