Weaning the swaddle - advice & experience

My LO is 4 months old. We currently swaddle her in an ergo swaddle bag. She settles so well in there and sleeps at least 4 hours in a row at night (sometimes more but it's variable). She's obsessed with her hands and they get her excited so dreading her having access to them!
The swaddle bag can turn into a normal sleeping bag. She's rolling into her side in day but hasn't rolled yet, but think I need to start moving away from the swaddle soon. Any advice and experience please? How long does it take for them to adjust please?

Hi
We ended up buying the Love to dream swaddle where you can unzip one arm at a time - took about 3 weeks but he is now happy to be arms out.

@Welshfiver thanks for your reply! 3 weeks! Crikey! How old was he, please?

We used an arms down swaddle till quite late as he wasn't rolling - I think about 5 months we tried the arms up one.
Yeah it took a while.

Oh my god. I had her in my bed this morning arms out (Co-slept out of desperation) and her arms are like windmills

Good luck!
I think some babies have a moro reflex that goes away more slowly, maybe that's part of it.
We had a bit of back and forth with the love to dream, some nights starting with an arm out then putting it back later in the night, but it did work well in the end.
