What time do you go to bed? And what time does your alarm wake you up?
I surprise my self because Pre kids I always used to love my sleep and lie in until 9/10/11am on a weekend but now if I lie in until 9.30am I get annoyed with myself as the day is gone! I never though I would say that 😂 but I much prefer getting up and starting the day now!

Bed half 11, sleep half 12.

Awake just before 8, up by half past 8

Bed around midnight sleep by 2/2.30. Alarm depends on what shift I'm working. Anything between 5 and 8am if im not nightshift.

Bed around 12 or 1.
Wake up on a work day at 7. Other days at 8ish.
Occasionally 6 which is not pretty.

I aim to go to sleep at 12:30pm. I get up at 7:15am but I work a lot of evenings and don’t do the school run.

4 hours sleep 😮

12.30 - 1am

Just settling now to read for a bit before lights out.

My body takes exactly 7 hours, I cannot persuade it to take more. So 1pm gives me a wake up at 8am which is quite respectable.

Usually 2ish can be later... I've always been a night bird, but DC is ASD/ADHD/SPD so I tend to nap in chunks through the night as opposed to actually "going to sleep"...

MardyOldGoth · 16/05/2022 00:51

I'm a night owl. Left to my own devices I'd probably sleep from 4am til noon/1pm. As this is socially unacceptable I've had to compromise, but I'd rarely be asleep before 1, even if I had to be up at 7. I try not to sleep later than 10am when free to do so, but I'm chronically exhausted from fighting my natural rhythm, so sometimes I crash out til lunchtime. Luckily I live alone so I'm not bothering anyone.

I go between:830pm and 9:30pm. I found it better to have a window than a set time.

I get up whenever.

Harrysmummy246 · 16/05/2022 19:01

Sometime between half 9 and half 10 usually. Try to get up by 6:30 (especially work days, but also to have some peace if not)

Doesn't always work that way. DS is a sh*t sleeper and he didn't inherit that from DH............

Sleeping habits change a lot when there are children in the family. You used to like to sleep late on weekends, but now you prefer to wake up early to make the most of the new day. This is quite common, when responsibilities and household chores require you to adjust your sleeping habits. It's important to find a balance between resting and enjoying the day, avoiding fatigue but also not missing out on fun times with family. Using modern tools like time calculator to help is not a bad idea.
