We went on holiday recently and my 15 MO settled so nicely at bedtime, babbled himself to sleep. I put him to bed on our bed at the air bnb. I just had to sit on the edge of the bed and let him go off. He slept with us.
At home however, whenever he goes into his cot for bedtime it’s crying and I have to pat, shhh, etc him to sleep.
The holiday has shown me a stark difference in behaviour and It made me think that not every baby must cry when going to bed?
Is it because he was going to bed in our bed? Even though it was a strange bed?!
Is it normal for him to cry every night when going into his cot?
