Hi,
My lb is nearly 8 months. He goes to bed for 7pm, alseep by 7:15/20 and will sleep till 5am. He will occasionally wake up for a dummy but will go back asleep. By 7:45 he is fussy wanting a nap but i try and keep him awake till 8:30 he will sleep till 9:30 possibly longer if i left him but i try not too, then by 11:30 he is wanting another nap. So nap - 12 till 1:30. Then again around 3pm he ie fussy again for a nap, i try an keep him up till 4 he will sleep till 5. Then by 6:45 he is wanting to go to bed.
Am i doing this all wrong with his naps should i just let him sleep?
Thanks for any advice

I think it depends on your lo. Are you happy with 5am wake up? Some people are. Personally I'm not. I think about 8 months my lo was on 2 naps.

930am or 945am (with a wake up about 630am to 7am) till 11am
2pm till 330pm/4pm
730pm to 8pm sleep.

Every lo is different and has different awake times.

There is nothing wrong with 3 naps though! If it works for you

I always woke after 45mins for the morning nap.

Afternoon nap was 12noon then sleep til you wake. They were always awake by 3pm and then perfectly happy to go to bed at 7pm.
