DD has been on and off a good sleeper. She still occasionally wakes in the night but for short spells.

Last few weeks she been taking over an hour to fall asleep, and will sing, shout, talk in her cot. Which I understand can be completely normal, but this is over an HOUR most nights. She was usually asleep with 10 minutes.

Her current routine is:
6.30-7.30 awake

12.30-12.45 nap after lunch which is around 1.5-2 hours long and capped at 2.

Bath and start bedtime routine at 6.30 down at 7.00-7.15. Asleep by 8.15-8.45

if she wakes in the night this is usually between 3-5am.

I have tried reducing the nap to 1hr/1.5 hours moving bedtime to 6.45/7.30/7.45 but either way she takes along time to fall asleep. Naps she is asleep within 5 minutes.

is this regression? Ride it out? Or any tips? I just can’t switch off and relax until i know she’s settled.
