Hiya,
I have a 10 week old. They normally feed to sleep at beginning of night and I then place them in swaddle with pink noise. They then sleep between 1-4/5 hours but mostly wake up after 2 hours. Feeding to sleep doesn't always work as she won't take breast if she's full. She is hard to get back to sleep and very fussy in the night (won't go back into crib easily) and looking for any success stories / tips for shush pat please? Thanks!
BTW - cosleeping does not work. Have persevered in night and she's just super fussy and currently needs a swaddle. She refuses a dummy

Shush patting will involve a fair load of crying.

I'd suggest you put a big, BIG focus on getting dummy accepted. Babies generally need to suck to sleep, its natures way baby self-conforts.

Thank you. How do I do it? Is 10 weeks to late?

10weeks isnt too late to get a dummy accepted.

Some babies don't 'get' dummy use straight away. Some need a process or trial and error and practice intol they realise that by sucking they feel comfort.

It really comes down to being relentless about it. Keep trying, all different times if day and ways - place priory, importance and urgency on getting it accepted.
