Is 6pm too early for bedtime?

I just want to preface this with the fact I know how lucky I am, and I am not here to brag in any way, shape or form. I'm just looking for advice/wondering what your bedtimes were.

So first baby, has been sleeping through the night since 3 months (now 5 months). We were putting him to bed at 7pm, with him waking up at 8am... for the past month or so we changed it up so he went to bed at 6pm to wake up at 7, which has been working fine but I'm wondering if thats too early.

His naps in the day tend to be around 45 mins and he has 3-4 of them, not on any solid nap routine, just put him down when hes getting tired and grumbly although they usually fall into a rough pattern.

We started putting him down earlier so we had more time together in the evenings, but not sure if long term it's a good idea? Just wondering what time do your little ones go to bed?

Kids go through all sorts of phases of being sleepers and not sleeping so I wouldn't worry about it having any effect at all. If having a bit of peace together is possible, make the most of it!

Also, remind yourself that having a bit of peace probably makes it easier to give of your time and energy to the baby when they are awake. That's what I'd do

Sounds perfect. I'm very jealous

6 or 7 are both fine, in my opinion. I think between 6 and 7 is recommended as a bedtime for babies. Although as long as the baby is sleeping well then who cares really! Enjoy while it lasts!
