Toddler sleeping bag Vs cot duvet

Hey!

17 month old sleeps in a toddler sleeping bag. He is about to grow out of the ones he currently uses.

Coming into spring/summer, I was about to buy some light tog sleeping bags for him in the next size buy it has made me wonder if it would be better to transition to a cot duvet instead as they do tend to outgrow the bags quickly.

However, he moves allllll over the cot when he sleeps, usually with his head at the opposite end to where he fell asleep or horizontally across the top.

When did yours start using cot bedding rather than a sleeping bag?

I have a 21 month old who wriggled all over the bed. When he was about 19 months old, we had the same issue that he was outgrowing the sleeping bags. We went straight to a cot duvet and pillow and it has actually made him sleep at one end rather than all over the cot.

The next sized sleeping bag is 18m-3y, you will get lots of use out if it.

It wouldn't move to a duvet until moving from cot to bed. And 3y is a good time for that.

But next sized sleeping bags

about 18 months when she suddenly started hating her bag and escaping lol

My 3 year old still wears his bag. He’s a riot all over his bed!

I moved my daughter at 18 months Into her cot bed and gave her a duvet then. She wasn't much of a wriggler though.

At about 16 months when he figured out how to get out of his sleeping bag. He now has a duvet but usually sleeps on top of it so during colder weather I put him in a fleecy sleep suit.

My neice & nephew both went into toddler beds with pillows & duvets at around 18 months.
