thrashing in sleep

My 13 week old no longer feeds at night and sleeps from 11.30pm until 6-7am so he,s doing very well. He has always thrashed around a little in his sleep but recently this has become worse. It has started waking him from his sleep as it causes him to pull his dummy out and scratch his face. I have even tried putting him in my bed to settle him ,but he continues with his eyes closed until evenually he cries and wakes.
Any Ideas???Thanks

Do you swaddle him? The moro reflex is quite strong at this age.

No I don,t as I thought babies of this age should not be swaddled due to got death risk.

You could swaddle him under the arms. This is what I do with my lo (10 months) As long as there is not risk of overheating they should be ok. I use a grobag and then tuck dd in with a blanket. This helps. The moro relfex is quite strong at a young age and takes till about 6-8 months till it goes away. It may help....just a suggestion.x
