3 year old getting up in the night

It’s so typical! Our DD has always been a great sleeper from a baby! Went into her big girl bed at around 2 and slept amazingly!

It typical that since our DS (10 month) has started sleeping through the night our DD has started getting up 2/3 times a night. It wouldn’t be so bad if it was a take her back and she drops back off but we need to stay with her till she falls asleep which sometimes up to 1.5 hours at a time!

We’ve addressed everything it could be, she’s not scared, hungry, thirsty. There’s been no big changes around the time she started waking up. I think it’s just habit now.

We have given her a token system where she starts the night with 2 tokens and when she gets out of bed we take a token away. However many tokens she has in the morning is how many prizes she gets. It kind of worked but now it’s old hat so doesn’t have the effect anymore.

We are at our wits end and I absolutely dread nighttime again.

Any advice greatly appreciated! Confused

Can't she come into your bed?

Fab! Thank you!
We do most of this but I would be interested to see how a weighted blanket would work!

We like having our bed as our space plus it’s not big enough for all of us to sleep in comfortably
